I actually got inside the thing at the Iowa State Fair in about August of 1986. It was pretty sweet. The interior was tricked out like one of those 70's "Leisure Van" mobiles. I talked to the driver, whose job it was to cruise around the country in this giant phallus. I seem to recall that she didn't seem to think her job was in the least bit odd. NOTE: At least one, and possibly both, of us was stoned.

For a while, that thing was following me around. I'd see it outside Mookie's preschool one day, then in San Jose a week later. Luckily, I lost it.
